ZEDMAKEYLA FACTS SIS INCUBATION PROGRAM
ZEDMAKEYLA Program is centered on Schools Overcoming the Digital Divide. This initiative is designed to deliver FACTS SIS to schools striving to overcome their digital divide. These schools are faced with various challenges that may prevent them from fully adopting best practices
ZedMakeyla will also be partnering with individuals as well as organizations, government agencies or ministries in sponsoring some of the costs associated with delivering this program to the targeted schools. These schools will also be mentored by ZedMakeyla and other Renweb/FACTS SIS High Performance schools.
- Targeted schools ideally must be:
- Schools which show no evidence of currently using an SIS system or would like to move over to FACTS SIS.
- Facing economic compression due to shrinking enrollment and/or tuition income.
- Willing to use FACTS SIS in a multi-tenant database configuration-incubator model.
- FACTS SIS will be offered with these limitations:
- Limited to key features that will improve the schools digital performance.
- Schools will use standard report card templates unless they prefer some customizations.
- Security rights will be controlled by a Zed Makeyla appointed IT specialist.
- IT specialist will be expected to manage the incubator customers by:
- Consulting their leadership team on the standards of their use of the SIS platform.
- Assisting in mapping out user security rights, and how the school will reach out to Zed Makeyla for revisions to rights.
- Manage onboarding of schools; training and support over time.
- Working with mentor schools who will assist the incubator schools in transitioning to best practices within FACTS.
- Long-term expectations:
- Schools can advance and graduate, becoming an autonomous database entity school.
- Schools can gain access to all features when they become autonomous.
- Schools database will be re-structured when they choose to become autonomous.
- Presentation:
- Free online demonstration of system.
- Costs associated with the program.
- Discussion of potential sponsors.
